About Award Signal
Award Signal is a free research prototype for vendors exploring public-sector cyber and IT procurement. It brings a small, searchable sample of official public records together with plain-language notes about what those records show and what they cannot establish.
Preview status: this public preview is not a complete procurement feed, a bid recommendation, or a qualification service. Operator identity and a correction contact must be supplied before a full business launch or ad application.
Sources and coverage
The prototype queries recent published notices and compares titles and CPV codes with an illustrative cyber-defense profile. A match can be an award, amendment, planning notice, or another stage; verify the notice itself.
The prototype reads recent OCDS releases tagged for the tender stage, screens cyber/IT text, and checks the listed tender closing date. This does not cover every UK procurement portal or prove that a notice remains open.
The prototype screens the public open-tender CSV for cyber/IT text and a listed closing date today or later. It does not cover provincial or territorial portals. Verify current status, exact time, amendments, documents, and supplier requirements at CanadaBuys.
The prototype screens a recent transaction window around NAICS 541512 and related cyber/IT wording. These are historical award actions, not open opportunities and not evidence that an awardee is seeking suppliers.
How the sample is screened
- Every refresh records the source query, date window, rows reviewed, and rows retained.
- TED uses a seven-day publication window, an illustrative profile, title phrases, and exact CPV codes.
- Find a Tender uses a seven-day update window, tender-stage releases, cyber/IT text matches, and listed closing dates today or later.
- CanadaBuys uses open-status rows, cyber/IT text matches, and listed closing dates today or later.
- USAspending uses a 90-day transaction window with initial award actions kept distinct from later modifications.
- Searches saved by a visitor stay in that browser's local storage; they are not sent to the site.
- Filtered CSV exports are assembled in the browser and downloaded to the visitor's device; search terms are not sent to a server.
What to verify before acting
Use the official source link on every record. Confirm the current procedure stage, closing date and time zone, amendments, solicitation documents, buyer, eligibility rules, and any required registrations. A keyword or code match is only a discovery signal. It is not legal, bid, or supplier-eligibility advice.
Refresh and funding
The local data pipeline is scheduled for weekly refresh. Display advertising may support the site later if it attracts a real audience and qualifies with a publisher network. Ads, analytics, accounts, and forms are not active in this prototype.
Contact and corrections: the business operator's public contact details have not been supplied yet. This page must be updated with the owner-approved business identity and correction address before public launch.
